Our tip

If you can, take part in all four days - the depth comes primarily from the process.

Relax between the years

There is often such a strange space between Christmas and New Year.

The world is getting quieter - and at the same time everything sometimes feels fuller inside.

Maybe you had a nice holiday and are still exhausted.

Perhaps it was a lot emotionally: family, expectations, conversations, memories.

Maybe it was simply too loud, too crowded, too fast - even with people you love.

And then there's this new year on the horizon.

Some feel hope. Others feel pressure.

„What's coming?“

„Will I really realise my goals?“

„What if I slip back into the same patterns?“

„What if I'm not enough - or don't do enough?“

The Restore & Renew Retreat is our space for precisely this time.

Not as an optimisation project. But as a return.

The practice: recovery that really works

This retreat is not about achieving more.

It is there to relieve you.

In the sessions we will work with a calm, nourishing practice that takes you step by step out of „tension mode“. There will be yin yoga, restorative sequences, longer postures and gentle transitions - so that the body can let go: Muscles, fascia, breathing spaces.

And as the body calms down, so does the mind.

Meditation, Prāṇāyāma and Yoga Nidra will accompany this process. Sound will also be an important part: sometimes through chanting, sometimes through silent listening.

You don't need any previous experience.

You don't have to be agile. And you don't have to sing.

You can just come - and let yourself be carried.

Mental impulses & small inner alignment

It's not just the body that is tired between the years.

Often the mind is also full.

That is why there will also be small mental impulses alongside the practice: Thoughts, reflections, simple exercises - not as a „lecture“, but as an accompaniment. Something that reorganises you. And help you to enter the new year more clearly, without pushing yourself.

Gong bath & fire ceremony

One day is dedicated to the gong bath - a deep experience for the nervous system. Many people experience it as an inner cleansing: not spectacular, rather calm and clear. As if something that has been solid for a long time becomes soft in the depths.

At the end of the retreat we come together for the fire ceremony.

A ritual that is particularly powerful at this time of year:

We let go of what we don't want to take with us - and open ourselves up to what may come.

Why all 4 days are so valuable

You can also take part on individual days - and still take a lot with you.

But if you attend all four sessions, there is often a different effect: you don't just „come down“, you really come back to yourself. It becomes quieter inside. Clearer. Go on.

And this is exactly what many people need most at the beginning of a new year, and as part of this product you will receive e-mails from us in which we will introduce you to our offer and you will learn everything about Jivamukti Yoga and Peace Yoga!

IMPORTANT: You can object to the use of your e-mail address for sending product information about yoga classes, workshops, events and our offer at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.

Moritz is a Berlin-based advanced certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher, founder of the Jivamukti Yoga School Peace Yoga, creator of online courses for yoga students and teachers and facilitator, anatomy and Sanskrit teacher for the international Jivamukti Yoga teacher trainings.

Moritz has been teaching yoga for over 17 years and made it his main profession after successfully completing his medical studies. Having first come to yoga through mysticism, philosophy and esotericism, he now integrates his knowledge into physically and mentally challenging asana classes, which are accompanied by an inspiring soundtrack and heart-warming chanting of mantras and kirtan.

To this day, his teachers are Sharon Gannon and David Life, the founders of the Jivamukti Yoga method, from whom he regularly learns and to whom he is deeply grateful that they have paved the way for him to walk on today.

Moritz is also grateful for all the other wonderful teachers he has had the opportunity to learn from, including Ana Froest, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Bryan Kest, Manorama, Gitta Kistenmacher and Dr Patrick Broome.

"My greatest wish is that I can support others in using the tools of yoga practice to experience a sense of primal trust that leads to the realisation of their true potential, which is infinite and filled with more limitless joy. I am convinced that yoga is not for everyone, but only for those who are interested and open to it. But yoga always welcomes them. I feel truly honoured to have been given the opportunity to be of service to others on this adventure to the state of yoga, the state of being one with our true self again."

PS: A vegan diet is the best yoga practice and perhaps the most important.

Niklas' interest in movement, music and philosophy was evident from an early age. Growing up in the Black Forest, he also had early contact with religions from a wide variety of movements. However, he did not feel at home anywhere and set out in search of a different, freer spiritual anchor. He adopted the teachings of various philosophies, mostly through literature.

He studied medicine in Berlin and now works as a plastic and aesthetic surgeon. In Jivamukti Yoga, Niklas found all his different interests combined in one yoga class and became an enthusiastic yogi. He wants to share his experiences with others to inspire them to find out what they really want in life and who they really are.
