800h + Advanced Certified JIVAMUKTIYOGA Teacher
Ulrike started practising yoga at university in 2006. She discovered Jivamukti Yoga in New York in 2011 - and immediately felt at home. She was particularly touched by the approach of seeing yoga practice not purely as a technique for self-optimisation, but as a way of connecting with the greater whole. Practising and being in community with other yogis inspires her to open up further and constantly find new perspectives from which the world looks completely different than she always thought.
After several years of intensive practice, she completed the 300h Jivamukti Teacher Training in India in February 2017 with her teachers Sharon Gannon, Yogeswari and Jules Febre as well as her mentor Moritz Ulrich, with whom she completed the 500h Apprenticeship in 2018. Ulrike has lived in Berlin since 2005 and studied cultural and literary studies here. She has been working as a freelance yoga teacher since 2017 and runs the yoga blog www.fuckluckygohappy.de, among other things.
