800 hours Advanced Certified JIVAMUKTI YOGA Teacher
Birthe studied French and Cultural Studies and has been working in material development and film promotion in Berlin since the beginning of her studies.
After more than 13 years of enthusiastically standing on the yoga mat several times a week as a student, she decided in spring 2015 to complete the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in New York with Sharon Gannon and David Life. Since then, she has been teaching with the same enthusiasm as she practices herself.
For Birthe, yoga is a return to our true essence. Love. Unconditionality. Kindness. Non-violence. Compassion. No matter which way we approach yoga - whether through asana, meditation or philosophy. No matter how consciously we intend to change ourselves and the world around us. It happens. one day. imperceptibly. for sure. Yoga is the state in which we no longer miss anything. In which we know that everything is within us. was eternal. always will be. We just have to remember.
She thanks her teachers and the founders of Jivamukti Yoga, Sharon Gannon and David Life, for the connection they have created with the millennia-old tradition of yoga. She thanks them for their uncompromising activism in giving a voice to all those living beings who do not speak our language. She thanks all the teachers who have accompanied and inspired her on her journey so far - especially Dechen Karl Thurman, Rima Rani Rabbath and Jules Febre.
She would like to express her deepest gratitude to Moritz Ulrich for his immeasurable support and trust. She would not be where she is without his generosity, his radiant clarity and his level-headedness. Seven years after she attended her very first Jivamukti class with him in Berlin, he became her mentor in the training in New York and the 800 hour Apprenticeship in Berlin.
