Frequently asked questions
Will I get my course fee back if I cancel?
A refund of the course price is generally not possible if you cancel. We therefore recommend that you take out seminar or workshop insurance, which you can easily find online.
How does the training work?
The training is divided into 5 units of 2 days each. Each day has 5.5 hours of teaching time. There is a 90-minute - 120-minute lunch break each day. In addition, you will need approx. 2 hours on each training day for homework, which you will have to complete on your own. Each training day begins with a short meditation and an introduction to a yoga-philosophical theme or mantra. You then practise the Spiritual Warrior Class every day. This is followed by further practical and theoretical sessions in the afternoon. Particular emphasis is placed on your own teaching and methodology. By the end of the training you will be able to teach a Jivamukti Yoga Spiritual Warrior Class. This is roughly what the elements of a training day look like: Chanting/meditation/lecture: approx. 1 hour, asana practice: approx. 2 hours, lunch break: approx. 90 minutes, workshop session: approx. 2 hours ("The 5 Pillars of Jivamukti Yoga", "What is Vinyasa Krama?", "Hands-On Assists" and much more). Homework review: approx. 30 minutes Time for homework: approx. 2 hours.
What happens if I can't take part in a session?
You can only receive the certificate of participation if you have attended all sessions and successfully completed all homework and final tests. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to attend some of the sessions, you can make up the missed knowledge in consultation with the yoga studio and the head of the training programme. Please note that this may incur additional fees, as the training leader will then take extra time for you. Receipt of the certificate is always at the discretion of the organising yoga studio or the leader of the respective training.
What happens if I don't pass the test class?
You can repeat the optional test class as many times as necessary if you do not pass. For each additional repetition, the examination fee of €120 will be charged again.
Can I teach the Spiritual Warrior class after the training and call it that?
If you would like to use the name "Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior" for your classes, you must pass an examination (test class) within 12 months. This consists of teaching a Spiritual Warrior Class in a Jivamukti Yoga studio or at another location. The head of the 75h training or the programme director or the director of the studio or a selected Advanced Jivamukti Yoga Teacher must be present at the test class. Peace Yoga Berlin charges a fee of 120 € for this. After successfully passing the test, you will be authorised to teach the Spiritual Warrior class and to call this class by that name. If you successfully complete the 300h training, you can also teach the Spiritual Warrior Class and do not need to take a test class.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the training?
